In recognition of her service to the propagation of Islam, the Islamic Preachers of Salvation has conferred Islamic Chieftaincy title “Iya Adinin” on Pensioners FM Financial Secretary, Mrs Yinka Adewuyi.
The conferment ceremony was held at Ode Aje Alase, Ibadan and was witnessed by Muslims and well wishers.
Amir, Islamic Preachers of Salvation, Prince Mutiu Ajibola said the group conferred the new Islamic title on Mrs Adewuyi by virtue of her contribution towards the progress of Islam.
The new Iya Adinni of the Islamic Preacher of Salvation, Mrs Adewuyi thanked the group for counting her worthy as Iya Adinni and promised to enhance her efforts in contributing to the progress of Islam and humanity.
In the same vein, the group also appointed Iya Adinni’s husband, Alhaji Abbas Adewuyi as her grand patron.
Among the people that graced the occasion were, Pensioners FM Head of Marketing, Mrs Afolake Odeyemi, Head of Yoruba Presentation Unit, Mr Abdulmumin Ishola and a staff member of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, Mrs Wumi Alonge.
