The newly appointed Caretaker Chairman, Ede North Local Government area of Osun State, Alhaji Taiwo Amodu has promised to complete all the developmental projects embarked upon by his late predecessor, Alhaji Jimoh Oyekanmi.
Alhaji Amodu who took over as the Local Government Caretaker Chairman made this known in his speech while assuming duty at the local government secretariat, Oja Timi, Ede Osun State.
According to the new chairman, projects such as provision of a conducive office environment for principal officers and other cadres of staff of the local government, renovation of schools and roads maintenance would be his administration’s priority.
“Together with my former chairman, we had many of developmental plans before he died. so I want to continue on our plan.
“We have some abandoned projects. Before our arrival, there was no office for the HLA, no office for the Director of Prammmes. We have embarked on the renovations of the offices and we shall finish them before embarking on new projects,” Alhaji Taiwo Amodu said.
Alhaji Amodu While calling on all the staff and the people of Ede North Local Government to support him and his vice, Hon. Abeebllahi Oyekanmi, assured stakeholders of quality administration that would fast track development of the council area.
The Ede North Local Government Area Caretaker Chairman also urged the people of Osun State to key into the all-round development agenda of Governor Ademola Adeleke who he said has been all out to bring a difference to the socioeconomic narrative of the state.
