Analyst Tells Govs. to Invest Allocated N30B on Food Production

A Public Affairs Analyst, Comrade Abiodun Bamgboye has urged state governors, to invest the thirty billion naira allocated to them in areas that will touch the lives of the people.

Comrade Bamgboye, made this known while featuring on Pensioners FM, Political programme, “The Searchlight”.

According to Comrade Bamgboye, the money should be spent on food production, especially mechanise farming which could yield results within a short period of time.

Comrade Gbamgboye also backed the reopening of the country’s borders temporarily for importation of food, but added that it should not be seen as a long term solution.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, had disclosed that each state governor has been allocated an extra thirty billion naira to address the challenges of food scarcity and hardships confronting Nigerians.
