Two Public Affairs Analysts have called for electoral reforms to enhance true democracy in the country.
The Analysts, Barrister Kunle Abimbola and Mr Jide Olowoyo made this known while speaking Democracy Day, on Pensioners FM current affairs programme “Voice of Liberation.”
According to Barrister Abimbola and Mr Olowoyo, freedom of speech and prioritising citizens welfare are also key elements for democracy to thrive in Nigeria.
Barrister Abimbola and Mr Olowoyo, commended President Bola Tinubu for the conferment of national honours on key figures of June 12 struggles.
They, however, noted that more still need to be done to honour the legacies of those who laid down their lives for the sustenance of democracy in the nation.
