Chairman Development Committee, Ade-Yalo Irepodun, Olorunshogo area of Ona Ara local government, Alhaji Moruf Durodoye has called on Governor Seyi Makinde to come to their aid on the deplorable condition of the road in the area.
Alhaji Durodoye, made the appeal while featuring on Pensioners FM Yoruba stewardship programme, Abo Ree.
According to Alhaji Durodoye, the road from Olorunshogo market down to Awotunde, Baba rere, Olopometa, Oritamerin, Baba nla and Ogbere tioya which link other parts of Akanran road is now a nightmare for road users.
Alhaji Durodoye noted that the damaged road has made life unbearable for residents and commuters for the past 2 years.
Alhaji Durodoye noted that the community leaders have written series of letters concerning the condition of the road to appropriate authorities.
He, therefore, called on Governor Makinde and Chairman, Ona Ara local government chairman, Dr Kolapo Glorious, to hasten the rehabilitation of the road to make life better for people of the area.
