Reunion has been described as reinforcement of bonds, regeneration of friendships and appreciation of life.
This was the submission at the first reunion get together of Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria, CRIN socialites in the 7Os, held in Ibadan.
In his address, Chairman, Planning Committee of the reunion, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, said the essence of the event was to reconnect with one another and to strengthen the bond that unites them.
Comrade Abatan who is also the Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, appreciated the Director of CRIN, Dr Patrick Adebola, for his support and contributions in ensuring that the event was successful.
Earlier, Guest Speaker at the event, Reverend Bunmi Olusola, who spoke on “Power of Relationship”, said healthy relationships are very important in the life of every individual.
Reverend Olusola who is also a Retired Principal Superintendent in CRIN, lauded the committee for the initiative and described it as a way to build healthy relationship among Alumi of CRIN.
The reunion afforded the CRIN socialites the opportunity to wine and dine, as they also took time to dance to lovely tunes dished out by a disc jockey.
