The umbrella body of Ede Elders worldwide, Ede Elders’ Council, EEC, has felicitatated Oba Munirudeen Lawal, LAMINISA 1, the Timi of Edeland on the occasion of his 18th year on the throne of his forefathers.The Council noted that his wise leadership and fatherly heart have helped in fostering the steady growth and development of the ancient town, thereby opening a new page of history.
The President of the Council otherwise known as “gbimo Agbaagba Omo Ilu Ede”, Alhaji Sulaimon Adebayo while saluting the positive leadership strideo of Oba Lawal,said the fostering of harmony among all sons, daughters and residents of Ede under Oba Laminisa the first has brought stronger bonds among his subjects.
EEC also expressed the opinion that Oba Lawal’s wisdom has helped in no small measures to galvanize many socio-economic innovations and developments of Ede, especially the establishment of world class tertiary institutions in the ancient city.
In a congratulatory message issued by EEC’s Director of Publicity, Chief Ayodele Adeyemo,JP, the Council remarks: ” Kabiyesi Oba Lawal, as you celebrate your 18th year on the throne of your forefathers, our prayer is that God will continue to give you more wisdom, peace of the heart and grace of good health to reign long in Edeland to usher in more developmental landmarks.
