As part of his administration’s efforts towards improving the welfare of the people, the Caretaker Chairman, Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State, Alhaji Taiwo Amodu has inaugurated a modern Bore-hole project.
According to a release by the Council’s Supervisor for Information, Bashir Salawu, the Osun State Government powered water project was inaugurated at Adegbile Compound, Sagba, Abogunde Ward 2 in the Local Government Area.
Alhaji Amodu, represented by his Vice Chairman Honourable Habeeb Oyekanmi and Council Secretary Honourable Ismail Olayiwola, emphasised that water is an essential commodity for sound human health and proper environmental hygiene.
The Ede North Local Government Caretaker Chairman while assuring the residents of more dividends of democracy from the present administration in Osun State, said Governor Ademola Adeleke would not renege on his promise of prioritising the people’s welfare and all-round development of the state.
Earlier, the Council’s Supervisor for water and environmental Sanitation, Honourable Waliu Raji, enjoined the benefitting communities to ensure adequate maintenance of the facility towards its longevity.
A community leader in Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Ede North Local government Area, Mr Babatunde Adisa, while appreciating the council Administration for the provision of the facility, promised his people’s continued support for the current administration in the state.

Mr Adisa however promised that the facility would be properly monitored and maintained by every stakeholder in the community.
