EPL: Tottenham Sack Head Coach Thomas Frank

Tottenham Hotspur have sacked head coach Thomas Frank, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.

Frank’s dismissal came following Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle that left Spurs 16th in the Premier League and just five points above the relegation zone.

Tottenham have parted ways with head coach Thomas Frank after less than eight months in charge, Sky Sports reports.

This comes a day after Spurs lost 2-1 to Newcastle at home.

The result leaves the North London club sitting in 16th place, five points above the drop zone.

Tottenham have won just twice in their last 17 league games.

Frank leaves having won just 13 of his 38 matches in charge.

The loss to Newcastle gave him the worst Premier League win percentage of any Spurs manager in the Premier League era with just 26.9 per cent.
