Ex-Oyo ALGON Chairman, Aleshinloye Mourns Oyo Former SSG, Chief Koleoso’s Exit

A former Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, has expressed sadness and a feeling of great national loss, over the passing away of the former National chairman of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Chief Michael Koleoso.

In a statement by his media aid, Prince Aleshinloye described the death of the Babalaje of Shaki as a devastating loss to the people of Oyo State in particular and the Nigeria in general.

The ex-Oyo ALGON Chairman described the late Chief Koleoso as a nationalist of note who lived a purposeful life of dedication to the cause of the nation’s unity and development.

Prince Abass-Aleshinloye acknowledged Koleoso’s selfless service and immeasurable contributions to nation building especially his legacies in Oyo State where he served meritoriously as a secretary to the State government.

He further stated that the state would sorely miss Chief Michael Koleoso whom he described as a selfless and vibrant politician who brought Saki town in particular and Oyo State in general to the high pedestal of Socio-development.

While commiserated with the family of the late elder statesman, the former executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State urged them to uphold the ideals the late SSG stood for, saying that the nation will continue to draw inspiration from his life and times.

The former council boss prayed that God will grant the deceased eternal rest and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
