The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Oyo State Sector, confirms that four people have died and one injured in an accident that occurred along the Soka axis of the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway.
The state FRSC Commander, Rosemary Alo made this known while speaking with Pensioners FM Correspondent at the scene of the incident.
According to Commander Alo, the total numbers of people involved in the accident were eleven, eight male and three female.
She also noted that the accident which involved four trucks, four Micra cars, and one Toyota Camry was as a result of road rage.
Commander Alo also advised drivers to desist from excessive speeding and embrace defensive driving techniques while on the road.
Pensioners FM Correspondent, reports that the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has since evacuated the bodies of the dead victims to Adeoyo morgue, Ring Road Ibadan, while the injured have been taken to hospitals for treatment.
