Focus on technical education for economic growth -Analyst Tells Govt.

Political and public affairs analyst, Dr Raymond Adegboyega has called on government to focus more on technical education in reviving the country’s dwindling economy.

Dr Adegboyega made the call while featuring on Pensioners FM, Political Programme, “The Searchlight.”

He said unfavourable policies, poor funding, inadequate facilities and brain drain are the major factors militating against technical education in the country, urging the government to tackle the issues.

According to him, technology plays a crucial role in economic development which enables more efficient production, leading to increased productivity and competitiveness.

Dr Adegboyega added that for the country to stay competitive and thrive in the evolving economy, it must adapt to technology advancements.
