Former Makinde’s Aide Jostles Governorship Ticket with Oriyomi at Accord Party

Days after resigning as Aide to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, retired Commissioner of Police in Benue and Lagos States Fatai Owoseni has joined the Accord party.

At a well-attended event held at the party Secretariat Yemetu Ibadan CP Owoseni urged members of the party to embrace collective responsibility and team work to take the party to greater heights.

He also collected expression form to flag the Accord flag as Governor of oyo state at the 2027 governorship election.

Owoseni stressed that, what he tagged as “seddon look attitude”, will not help the party and democracy in general.

Meanwhile a chieftain of the party and former House of Representatives member Hon.Adebukola Ajaja called on members of the party to go all out and register in the ongoing CVR as the exercise resumes on Monday 11th May across the country.

Hon. Ajaja said President Bola Tinubu remained  their candidate for the presidential seat for next year’s election. 

In a related development  Hon.Oluseye Gbaroye vying for the Egbeda Ona Ara Federal Constituecy of the House of Representatives  also joined the party. In attendance were South West coordinator of the party Mogaji Sunday Igbinsola ; State chairman  Prince Kolade Ojo and his executives
