A leading support group agitating for reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027 – PBAT Grassroots Connect commiserate with Engr. Seyi Makinde Led Government in Oyo State, the entire citizenry and residents of the state, most especially the family involved directly over the attack, abduction of people and the killing by a gang of bandits in the state recently.
A gang of bandits stormed Oriire Local Government in Oyo State on Friday , 15th of May 2026 and attack schools where Principal, Teachers, Students and Pupils were abducted after which some humiliating, devastating and gory videos were released by the terrorists showing a Principal and a teacher backing a baby pleading for help from the government and a man slaughtered live after mentioning his name as Oyedokun M. O.
In expressing her heartfelt sympathy over the ugly incident, the Oyo State Coordinator of the group Elder Atolani Kayode pray for the quick release of the remaining people in the captive, hope the soul of the slaughtered find eternal rest and wish the bereaved be granted the fortitude to bear the loss of their loved one.
In his words of encouragement, Elder Atolani assured the family and friends of the abducted of seeing their people back alive and in good health soon through the intervention of God and the efforts of various security agents under the directive of the President.
While pleading with both Federal, state and local governments to be more proactive and preventive in handling the security issues in the state, the State Coordinator of the group commended the President for the prompt response to the distress situation by sending the IGP to the scene and the conscious efforts of the state government – combined efforts that have led to the arrest of some suspects.
Elder Atolani Kayode on his final submission condemn the evil act and warned people against aiding and abetting evil as he believes that without the cooperation of insider, strangers can not invade a community, perpetrate evil and escaped.
“Everybody Should Be Consciously Involved In Securing Self and The Community In One Way or The Other” he said.
