The Chairman of a Non-Governmental Organisation NGO, Lead Support Group, Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Kehinde Subair, has called on other NGOs and well-meaning Nigerians to complement government efforts in addressing societal challenges.
Comrade Subair made the call in an interview with a Pensioners FM correspondent shortly after featuring on the station’s stewardship programme, “Abo Ree.”
He emphasised that the government alone cannot meet all the needs of the people, noting that collective support from NGOs, individuals, and community-based groups is essential for sustainable development.
Comrade Subair explained that the mission of Lead Support Groups is to assist the less privileged, widows and widowers, vulnerable persons, and unemployed youths through empowerment initiatives and humanitarian aid.
He also appealed to well-meaning Nigerians and organisations for financial and material support to enable the NGO continue its outreach programmes effectively.
