Hakeem-Alao Pledges Agricultural Reforms, if Elected as Governor

A governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem-Alao, has pledged to strengthen the agricultural sector in the state, if elected as governor of the state in next year’s elections.

Engineer Hakeem-Alao made the pledge at his official declaration to contest for governor in the 2027 general election, held at Emmanuel Alayande Teachers Resource Centre, Samonda, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Speaking on the theme “Redemption Mission 2027 for Oyo State”, Engineer Hakeem-Alao said his administration would be on four cardinal points.

The four cardinal points are agricultural development, civil service reforms, free education and provision of healthcare facilities.

He also promised to provide improved seedlings, modern equipment and affordable financing to farmers to enhance food security in the state.

Engineer Hakeem-Alao who is also known as Allow Alao, called on President Bola Tinubu to give room for primaries to elect party’s candidates and not through consensus.

Earlier, some APC leaders at the event expressed their readiness to support Engineer Hakeem-Alao ahead of the party’s primary.

Fuji musician, Actor Saheed Ayinde was on ground to entertain the teeming APC members.
