Hardship: Analysts Call for Peaceful Protest

By Adebayo Yusuf

Two public affairs analysts have called government to cut down cost of governance and review its policies to address the economic hardship in the country.

The Analysts, Mr Adesumbo Badejoko and Barrister Foluso Olapo made this known while speaking on the planned nationwide protest in the country on Pensioners FM current affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.

According to Mr Badejoko and Barrister Olapo, addressing the country’s inflation and other aspects of the economy could be the answer to the demands of Nigerians mobilising for the nationwide protest.

Mr Badejoko and Barrister Olapo urged the government to speak less on the protest in order to not infuriate Nigerians.

The analysts, also called on the Protesters to maintain peace and order while exercising their constitutional right, to avoid the protest being hijacked by hoodlums.

A planned nationwide protest had been scheduled to commence on the 1st of next month.
