A retired Director of Administration at Kwara State Public Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim, has urged civil servants to be dedicated, honest and diligent in the discharged of their duties.
Alhaji Ibrahim made this known in an interview with Pensioners FM.
Alhaji Ibrahim urged civil servants to stand against corruption in the public service and not participate or be a perpetrator.
Alhaji Ibrahim who is also the National Coordinator of the Muslim Media Watch Group, Nigeria said the present provisions in the country’s law do not prevent corruption.
He said bail–able and plea bargain are laws that enable corruption among political office holders.
He called on federal and state governments to be sincere in the fight against corruptions, especially among political office holders.
