ICAGS President Urges Alumni to Support Alma Mater

The National President of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School, ICAGS, Aperin Oniyere, Dr. Morounkola Thomas, has urged old students of the school to actively contribute to the development of their alma mater.

Dr. Thomas made this known at the maiden reunion of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School Class of 1971, held at the state headquarters of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Onireke, Ibadan.

Dr. Thomas stressed the importance of alumni in ensuring development of the Dr. Thomas appealed to all sets of alumni to establish a welfare fund to support indigent graduates.

The special guest of honour, the Reverend Canon Jide Mabadeje, commended the 1971 set of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School for initiating the reunion and encouraged them not to relent in contributing their quota to the school.

Earlier, the convener of the event, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, who is also the secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, explained that the meeting was to reconnect with old students.

Comrade Abatan further highlighted that the reunion served as a platform to develop the standard of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School ICAGS.
