A Human Rights Activist, Comrade Olu Abiala, has appealed to Christians to imbibe the spirit of charity.
Comrade Abiala said this while delivering the 2023 third quarterly lecture of the Men’s Missionary Union, MMU of New Haven Baptist Church, Ikolaba GRA, Ibadan.
Speaking on the theme “Christian’s Social Ministry In A Deceitful World”, Comrade Abiala, stated that Christians should see themselves as social workers and must always abide by the teachings of Christ.
Comrade Abiala, explained that Christians should recreate the world God promises his people through service and sacrifice.
Earlier, the Pastor-in-charge of New Haven Baptist Church, Ikolaba GRA, the Reverend John Adeyemo had enjoined Christians not to stop giving amidst various evil deeds.
Reverend Adeyemo also described the act of giving as a gift from God.
Our correspondent reports that the Board Chairman of Pensioners 106.7 FM, Chief Adebisi Adesola, was among dignitaries at the lecture.
