The Chief Executive Officer of Eternal Home Cemetery, Ibadan, Dr. Adebukola Kadiri, has urged underprivileged children to remain committed to the values of hard work, perseverance, and determination, describing them as essential ingredients for long-term success.
Dr. Kadiri made this call while delivering her remarks as the Mother of the Day at the 40th birthday celebration and book launch of Musliudeen Adebayo, a correspondent with the Oyo State Daily Post.
The event took place at the Dapo Aderogba Hall, located within the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
In her address, Dr. Kadiri emphasized that while life presents numerous challenges, especially for children from disadvantaged backgrounds commitment to personal growth and resilience can pave the way to a brighter future.
She also commended Adebayo for his contributions to journalism and for using the occasion to inspire others through his newly launched book.
The event brought together friends, colleagues, and members of the media community to celebrate Adebayo’s milestone and reflect on the importance of perseverance in both personal and professional journeys.
