Renowned cultural ambassador and CEO of Aafin Ilu (Palace of Drum), Prince Adewale Laoye, has been officially appointed as the Chairman of the 2025 edition of the Odun Aji La’La Oso, a flagship cultural festival of the ancient town of Ede in Osun State.
The announcement, conveyed through a formal letter signed by the Secretary of the Ede Descendants Union (Home Branch), Mr. Yisa Oyekanmi,and warmly accepted by Prince Laoye, who expressed deep appreciation and pledged unwavering commitment to the success of the festival.
In his letter of acceptance Prince Laoye described the appointment as a “profound honour,” noting that he is humbled by the trust and confidence reposed in him by the executive members of the Ede Descendants Union and the people of Edeland.
“I fully understand the responsibilities that come with this position and am committed to upholding the cultural heritage and traditions of Osun state.
