Legal Expert Advocates Spiritual Integrity in Professions

A legal expert, Mr. Tunde Adeoye has emphasised the critical need for spiritual integrity in various professions amidst the rising pressures of modern society.

Mr. Adeoye made the call as the guest speaker at this year’s first quarterly lecture of the Men’s Missionary Union, MMU, New Haven Baptist Church at Orelope Street, Ikolaba GRA, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

 Speaking on the theme, “Walking the Tight Rope of Spiritual and Social Standards,” Mr. Adeoye urged Christians in all profession to remain unwavering in their faith.

Mr. Adeoye encouraged them to deepen their commitment to God’s word, which he described as a vital guide for navigating the complexities of modern life.

Mr. Adeoye stressed that God’s principles should serve as a foundation in both personal and professional decisions.

In his remarks, the President of MMU, New Haven Baptist Church, Chief Adebisi Adesola, explained that the lecture’s theme was chosen to encourage professionals in various fields to stay true to God’s will in their work.

Chief Adesola, stressed that maintaining Christian values should never be compromised, regardless of one’s profession.

Earlier, the Pastor in charge of New Haven Baptist Church, Reverend John Adeyemo, remarked that the lecture served as a crucial reminder to Christians to uphold their faith in every aspect of life, particularly in light of societal challenges and norms that may conflict with biblical teachings.

Reverend Adeyemo also shared that the quarterly lectures are part of an ongoing effort by the church to equip members with the necessary tools to maintain a balance between their faith and professional life.
