Mama Mofoluwake Olukunle Laid to Rest in Abeokuta

The families of Senior Mother in- Israel- Bernice, Mofoluwake Olukunle has laid her remains to rest.
The burial service held at Abeokuta Grammar School Event Hall, Idi – Aba, Abeokuta conducted by Elders and Members of eternal sacred order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Mount Zion Cathedral, Araromi Province, NNPC, Apata, Ibadan was led by Special Senior Apostle, Samuel Taiwo Farinde, along with other top Elders of the Province.
In a sermon delivered by Senior Apostle Oludare Fadiji, titled ‘‘The Time of the Coming Our Lord Jesus Christ’’, he admonished the congregation to borrow from the exemplary life of Mama Mofoluwake Olukunle, whom every testimony pointed to as an example of humanity and integrity.
In a special oration for the late Senior Mother – in – Isreal which was poetically rendited by the first son of the deceased, a veteran journalist and public affairs analyst, Mr. Olufemi Olukunle, described their late mother as the encyclopedia of family history, a disciplinarian and prayer warrior.

Mr. Olukunle during an interview in Pensioners FM stressed that his mother was always a fun-to-be-with, as a wife, mother, friend and church worker.
Among the dignitaries that graced the event include the Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State Governor, Mr. Sulaiman Olanrewaju and his wife, foremost Agro Business Consultant and Public Affairs Analyst, Mr. Victor Adebiyi and General Manager, Pensioners FM, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.

Senior Mother – in Israel, Bernice, Mofoluwake Olukunle, who died on August 15, 2024 at Age 90 was survived by children and grandchildren, including veteran journalist and one of the pioneers of the News and Current Affairs analysts in Pensioners FM, Mr. Olufemi Olukunle.
