The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged Muslim faithfuls in the state to prioritise peaceful cohabitation, which is the hallmark of the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Governor Adeleke made this known while congratulating the Muslim Ummah in the state and beyond on the marking of the year 2025 Maulud Nabiyy.
In a statement issued by Olawale Rasheed, his Spokesperson, on Friday, Governor Adeleke described the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as a divine arrangement by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala to light the path of mankind and bring about everlasting relief in this world and hereafter.
While reflecting on the timeless message of peace and harmony that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) embodied while he was alive, Governor Adeleke noted that this moment not only called for spiritual reflection but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds of fellowship and goodwill.
He said, “It gives me immense joy to join Muslim Ummah in Osun State and beyond to celebrate the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Maulud Nabiyy is a strong reminder of the unquantifiable blessings that mankind enjoyed, and to also honour the timeless message he passed on to us.
