The Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS in Nigeria, NEPWHAN, Oyo State chapter, has called on Oyo state government and well-meaning Nigerians to support its projects in Ibadan North East, Ibadan South East, Ona-Ara, Egbeda and Oyo East local government areas of the state.
The state coordinator of NEPWHAN, Mr Faith Olawale made the appeal while speaking to newsmen in Ibadan, while giving the score card of the network for the first half of the year 2025.

Mr Olawale disclosed that despite the withdrawal of United State of America grant funds, NEPWHAN was able to make steady progress in the state.
Mr Olawale stressed that so far, NEPWHAN has worked with some Primary Health Care Centres across fifteen Local Government Areas of the state since its inception in 2022.
On his part, the state Programme Officer, GC7 Covid Response Mechanism Programme, Seun Adebiyi, appreciated the State Primary Health Care Development Area Executive Secretary, for fulfilling the promise of employing more staff for PHCs in the state and urged government to further engage communities’ stakeholders in achieving more results.
In attendance were community leaders, representatives of the Oyo State Ministry of Health and Programme officers from five local government areas in the state.
