The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reaffirmed that no one will dictate his political agenda for 2027 general election.
Governor Makinde reaffirmed this while receiving members of the Federation of Oyo State Students Union (FOSSU), at his office in Ibadan.
The Governor who emphasised that his political future remains a personal decision, pledged to build an institution that will guarantee good governance beyond the tenure of his administration.
He said he will not be distracted by calls from various quarters urging him to run for presidency in 2027.
Governor Makinde also urged students to give suggestions that would help improve the state governance.
In their separate messages, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Student Affairs, Victor Olojede, and the National President of the Federation of Oyo State Students Union (FOSSU), Ibrahim Alarape, commended the governor for his student-friendly policies.
They praised Governor Makinde’s unwavering support for the student community.
