The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP Oyo State Council, Agodi 4 branch has elected new executive members that will run the affairs of the branch for the next four years.
The election witnessed by Assistant Secretary, Oyo NUP, Comrade Banji Koleosho, was held at the Pensioners shed, Secretariat Ibadan.
Comrade Banji Koleosho, while announcing the results, stated that the newly elected Branch Chairperson, Mrs. Adeola Fasuru won the tightly contested election with 64 votes against the 52 votes of her opponent, Mr Bamidele Oyegbemiro.
Speaking after the election, the newly elected Branch Chairperson, Mrs. Fasuru pledged to run an inclusive and open administration.
The other elected executives are, Vice Chairman, Alhaja Lawal Toyosi, Secretary, Mr. Mosobalaje Adebiyi, Treasurer, Mrs Adedeji Olubunmi and Auditor, Mr. Oladele Joseph.
Others are three Ex officios, Mrs. Felicia Ayinde, Mr Oladiti Wakili and Mrs. Janet Akinola.
