The General Manager, Oyo State Fire Service, Mr Yemi Akinyinka, has warned residents to be careful with the use of fire and other electronics, during the harmattan season.
Mr Akinyinka gave the warning in a telephone interview with Pensioners’ FM Correspondent.
He called on the people to observe preventive measures to avert fire incidents in the state.
Mr Akinyinka highlighted the measure to include, switching off appliances, engaging the service of Professionals in fixing electrical work and avoiding incessant bush and waste burning.
Mr Akinyinka assured the public of the Fire Service’s readiness to respond swiftly to fire incidents and other emergencies.
