The Government of Oyo State has commended Media & Digital Skills Centre, Nigeria on the successful piloting of a Training programme on Coding, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Drone Technology organised for 3 Secondary Schools in the State.
The Commendation came on the heels of the impact the practical based Skill Programme had on the recipient Students as testified by their Principals.
The objective of the programme is to develop the creative potentials of the students and to prepare them for the 4th Industrial Revolution that is already here with us.
In a brief handover ceremony, the Executive Director of the Edu-Tech Company, Dr Ajibola Abiola thanked the Governr Seyi Makinde represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science & Technology for the honour done his Company and the opportunity to serve the State in that capacity.
He attributed the success of the Pilot programme to the cooperation enjoyed from the Ministry.
He affirmed his readiness to expand the scope of the Programme to cover more Secondary Schools in the State as the Commendation Letter will afford the Company the opportunity to seek financial assistance from Organisations & Philantropists for the execution of the expanded programme.
