Oyo State Government today, extended the usage of right side of Olodo Bridge for vehicular movement .
Commissioner for Public Works and Transportation, Professor Dahud Sangodoyin, while opening the bridge, said completion of the right side of the bridge will enhance seamless movement and link Osun state.
According to the commissioner, pavement of the bridge is made up of 200 milimitres thinckness, 50 milimitres asphaltic binder, and 40 milimitres asphaltic concrete all for durability.
While speaking, contractor handling the project, Mr Olanrewaju Adeleke, said the bridge can accommodate three vehicles at once and assured that the left side would be completed before Christmas.
Some residents who spoke to newsmen expressed delight on the level of work done so far, saying it has ameliorated their sufferings.
Recall that the state government had on 30th of April, opened right side of the bridge to pedestrians.
