The Oyo State Government has presented it 2022 audited financial statements.
The state Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Professor Babatunde Musibau, made the presentation in Ibadan.
Professor Musibau, said it was in accordance with Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to keep people abreast of the state government’s expenditure.
Presenting the report, tagged “Budget of growth and opportunities”, Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Sunday Ojelabi, said Governor Makinde spent 219 billion naira on social amenities.
Earlier, Chairman, finance, budget and appropriation committee Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Olasunkanmi Babalola, said the report would undergo the legislative scrutiny.
