The Oyo State Special Marshals RS 11.3 of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been honoured with an Award of Excellent Performance by the Oyo State Sector Commander, FRSC, Corps Commander Rosemary Alo.
The award was presented during the Annual End-of-Year Party of the Command held at the Sector Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan. According to a statement by the Publicity and Education Officer of the Oyo State Special Marshals, SM Dauda Ogunrinu, the event was attended by officers of the Command, comprising both senior and junior staff, who reviewed the year’s activities and expressed gratitude to God for the preservation of their lives.
While presenting the award, Corps Commander Alo described the Oyo State Special Marshals as highly effective and commended the State Coordinator, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa, for his vibrant and purposeful leadership.
In his remarks, the Oyo State Coordinator of the Special Marshals, Pastor Adegbotoluwa, appreciated the Oyo State Corps Commandant for her support and unwavering commitment to road safety in Oyo State and beyond.
The ceremony was also attended by state executives and unit coordinators attached to the Sector Command. During the event, the Sector Commander presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the State Coordinator in recognition of his commitment to FRSC activities and the continuous support rendered by the Oyo State Special Marshals to the Sector Command.
Several regular marshals were equally presented with letters of award in recognition of their dedication and commitment to duty.
