Recall that the state government opened the recruitment portal, subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng, for primary school teachers on June 25.

He added that all applicants would go through each stage, of the recruitment exercise, which also involved a computer-based test (CBT).

Speaking in Yoruba, Adeniran said, “the applicants will go through all the stages in the recruitment exercise. From the application stage, through all the screening stages.

“Those who cross the hurdle of application will receive messages inviting them to the next stage of the exercise which is the computer-based test.”

“The board has also promised to ensure that the exercise is merit-based throughout the stages of the recruitment, as this is the specific instruction from our principal, the governor,” he added.

Adeniran said the board was steadfast and committed to the state assignment, promising that it would forever be grateful to the governor for giving the opportunity.

He noted that at the conclusion of the recruitment exercise, the state would have the services of additional manpower in the teaching service to assist in shaping the lives of future generations.

Dr. Adeniran also urged the applicants to frequently check the recruitment portal to confirm their status after the screening, and also the date and time of the CBT test.

The OYOSUBEB chairman also promised that the war against thuggery in some basic schools “would soon be won,” but called for the support of every parent as it should not be left alone for the government.

He reminded applicants that the job portal would be closed on Tuesday, 9th July, adding that enquiries could be forwarded to
