The Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), Mogaji Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, SAN has been honoured with an award of Most Outstanding Personality (LAW) by the Ibadan Mega Voice.
The award, according to the association, was in appreciation of Mogaji Olagunju’s exceptional contribution to development of Ibadanland.
Personalities also awarded at the Second Anniversary and Award Ceremony of Ibadan Indigenes in the media industry held on Sunday at Bode Amao Hall, Ibadan House, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, were the President General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Chief (Barrister) Sulaimon Ajewole, Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (Muslim Wing), Sheikh Hashim Abdul-Wahab Atere, Mogaji Abdul- Sabur Olawore, Hon. Bayo Amusat-Gbenla, Fuji icon, Alhaji Taye Adebisi popularly known as Currency, amongst others.
The OYSIEC Chairman, Mogaji Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, SAN, appreciated the association for the award bestowed on him.
The OYSIEC boss, represented at the event by the Public Relations Officer of the Commission, Adedamola Adegoke, lauded members of the IMV for being professional in the discharge of their duties, whiling urging them not to deviate from the path.
The President, Ibadan Mega Voice, Aare Kola Olomide, explained that the awards were given to Ibadan indigenes and non-indigenes from various fields following their positive impacts on their communities and Ibadan in general.
Unveiling the projects before IMU, Aare Olomide sought for the support of all and sundry on the construction of the secretariat building, purchase of bus for the association among others.
He thanked the awardees and other personalities for identifying with the association.
