A Veteran Journalist, Asiwaju Samson Abiodun, has described continuous training of broadcast journalists as a means to reduce the level of unprofessionalism in the media industry.
Asiwaju Abiodun, who was a former General Manager of Radio Nigeria’s Positive FM, Akure, made this known while featuring on pensioners FM Programme ‘Grey Hair”, which profiles the past life of the elderly.
Asiwaju Abiodun also known as ‘ST’, who described as alarming the rate of quackery in the media profession, also called on broadcasters to embrace self-development in order to excel in the profession.
The veteran journalist also used the opportunity to call for synergy among media outfits, so as to achieve a common goal pertaining to the industry.
Speaking further, Asiwaju Abiodun urged media outfits to key into quality content creation and creativity in order to survive amidst the country’s socio –economic challenges.
