A retired General Manager of Corporate Communications, NIPOST, Mr Taye Olaniyi has called on Federal, State governments and medical research institutes to collaborate Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council on its hospital on operation.
Mr Olaniyi made the call in an interview with Pensioners’ FM during a
courtesy on Oyo NUP Secretary, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, at the union’s secretariat.
According to Mr Olaniyi, the establishment of the hospital was laudable and a great achievement in the lives of pensioners in Oyo State and would need partnership.
The retired post man also appreciated Oyo NUP’s edifice and the
establishment of the first Labour Radio in the world, saying the initiatives were commendable.
On his part, Comrade Abatan, while appreciating Mr Olaniyi for his
accolades, noted that the Union’s Hospital with be inaugurated 4 th of
December this year.
Comrade Abatan, stated that all that have been achieved by Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Councils, were made possible with the support and dedication of all executives members.
