The Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom, Oba Saliu Azeez, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Oba Akeem Owoade, the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, on the occasion of his coronation.
The congratulatory message was signed by Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Oba Azeez, Sodiq Yusuf.
Oba Azeez expressed his joy and praised the ascension of the new monarch, describing the event as a significant moment in the history of the Oyo Kingdom.
He wished the Alaafin a reign marked by wisdom, peace, and prosperity, while acknowledging the deep historical and cultural significance of the Oyo Empire.
The Sabiganna also celebrated the Alaafin’s dedication to the welfare of the Yoruba people and the preservation of the region’s rich cultural heritage. He expressed optimism about the future, highlighting the potential for strong cooperation and mutual respect between their kingdoms.
