Christians have been urged to dedicate specific times for prayer throughout the forty-day period of Lent, which began today.
A Christian cleric, Pastor Kehinde Omolaja, made the call in an interview with Pensioners FM.
Pastor Omolaja emphasized that the 40 days of Lent should be used to strengthen one’s relationship with God through consistent prayer, fasting, and acts of charity.
Pastor Omolaja also reminded Christians to remember the less fortunate during this season, encouraging them to participate in acts of kindness and charity.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, marking the first day of the period, and ends on Holy Saturday, just before Easter Sunday.
