A Public Affairs Analyst, Honourable Femi Adebisi says federal government needs to invest more in power generation to boost the socio-economic development of the nation.
Hon. Adebisi stated this while speaking on epileptic power supply in Nigeria on Pensioners FM Current Affairs programme, “Trending”.
According to him, government can tackle epileptic power supply by investing in solar power, which he noted is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available.
Hon. Adebisi said if the government could achieve this, it would boost employment, Agro businesses and also attract investors into the country.
Also, the Analyst called for a review of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund, RHIDF, saying it would not benefit the average Nigerians.
RHIDF was set aside by the federal government to take care of road, rail, agriculture, ports and aviation Infrastructures.
