The former General Manager of Pensioners 106.7 FM, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu, has expressed appreciation to the Board, Management and staff of the station for their support throughout his tenure.
Dr. Tiamiyu made the remarks during a send-off in his honour. He said their collective efforts contributed significantly to the station’s growth and achievements over the years.
Dr. Tiamiyu assured the management and staff that he would continue to support the station even after leaving the corporation.
Dr. Tiamiyu also urged members of staff to remain committed to the ethics and professional standards of broadcasting, while encouraging them to continue working towards the station’s growth and development.
Some workers and the station’s analysts commended Dr. Tiamiyu for his leadership and contributions, saying his efforts helped position Pensioners FM among leading radio stations in the state.
They prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection and success for Dr. Tiamiyu in his future endeavours.
Highlights of the event included presentation of gifts to the former General Manager.
Dr. Tiamiyu, who was part of the pioneer staff of Pensioners FM, was appointed the General Manager of the station on August 20, 2021.
