The Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry, Los Angeles, California, USA, in partnership with the Sadiat Toyin Lawal Foundation, has extended support to students, widows, and physically challenged persons in Ibadan through a series of community outreach programmes aimed at uplifting vulnerable groups.

The outreach began at Ikereku Community Grammar School in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, where students welcomed the visiting team.
Addressing the students, the Convener of the ministry, Dr. Toyin Lawal, said the initiative was designed to inspire young people to believe in themselves, stay focused on their dreams, and understand that their socio-economic background should not hinder their future aspirations.
Dr. Lawal urged the students to shun bullying, peer pressure, and other negative influences, stressing the importance of building a society where young people look out for one another and act as their brothers’ keepers.

She announced that beginning next year, the ministry would introduce a medical outreach component to its empowerment programme to broaden the scope of support available to disadvantaged communities.
A Senior Secondary School 3 student of the school, Miss Titilayo Omoniyi, appreciated the ministry, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.

From the school, the outreach team proceeded to various communities, including Apete, Odinjo, and Ọjà Ọba, where widows and physically challenged persons received food items, relief materials, and mobility aids such as wheelchairs.
At each of the centres visited, Dr. Lawal described the beneficiaries as some of society’s most vulnerable individuals who continue to shoulder the burden of sustaining their households amid economic hardship.
She offered prayers for renewed strength, comfort, and divine provision for the widows and physically challenged persons.
At Apete, the Pastor in charge of New Day Gospel and Praise Ministries, Pastor Olanike Adeyemi led the beneficiaries in prayers and thanksgiving, commending the ministry for remembering those struggling to meet basic needs.
Pastor Adeyemi noted that the intervention would significantly ease the burden on widows and support families facing financial difficulty.
