Two Public Affairs Analysts have described teachers as nation builders, calling for more reward for their efforts.
The Analysts, Mr Ayodeji Ajisope and Mr John Njoku made this known while speaking on this year’s World Teachers Day on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs Programme, Voice of Liberation.
Mr Ajisope and Mr Njoku said the government need to add value to the teaching profession, as the role of teachers cannot be overemphasised.
The Analysts urged teachers to also improve themselves through trainings as they play major roles in moulding the society.
World Teachers Day is celebrated every 5th of October as established by UNESCO in 1994.
