A Public Affairs Analyst, Mr Jide Ojo, says President Bola Tinubu’s New Year’s broadcast to Nigerians lacks substance.
Mr Ojo who is also a development consultant, stated this in a telephone interview while featuring on Pensioners FM’s weekly current affairs programme” Trending”.
Mr Ojo said the speech failed to address some critical issues affecting the country.
According to Mr Ojo, key issues such as report on palliatives distribution, restructuring as well as the recent killings in Plateau State were not captured in the New Year’s Address of President Tinubu.
Mr Ojo, who noted that the New Year’s Broadcast was not factual and data driven, said no time frame was set for the completion of ongoing developmental projects.
He therefore charged the federal government to be committed to the welfare of the masses.
Mr. Ojo stressed the need for Nigerians to support governments for effective service delivery.
