The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo state council, NUP has congratulated the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation.
Chairman, Oyo NUP, Chief Isiaka Abolade and the union’s Secretary, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, made this known in a statement.
According to the statement, Oyo NUP described the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as a significant milestone in the history of Ibadanland, noting that the new Olubadan’s wealth of experience and wisdom would usher in a new era of peace, progress, and prosperity for the people
The union also praised the peaceful and successful transition of power, which it noted was a testament to the rich cultural heritage and tradition of Ibadanland.
