Digital learning will reshape learners acquire knowledge, skills – Lawal

A former permanent secretary, Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM Oyo State, Alhaji Haroun Lawal has called on the government to intensify its efforts on the implementation of digital learning in schools.

Alhaji Lawal made the call in an interview with Pensioners FM.

According to Alhaji Lawal, Nigerian students and teachers must join the trend of digital learning to reshape how learners acquire knowledge and skills.

He said digitalization will aid easy access to educational resources for students and also enhance teachers’ output.

Alhaji Lawal, however, noted that digital learning would only be achieved and sustained with the availability of funds and continuous training of teachers.

The Federal Ministry of Education had last year, expressed its preparation to implement a digital learning strategy in schools.
