Muslim Pilgrims have been urged to use social media at Hajj to propagate the teachings and benefits of Hajj rather than filming for entertainment.
The Circuit Missionary, Ahmaddiyya Muslim Jamaat, Ibadan Circuit, Alhaji Muhammad-Mudasru Alaka and Vice Chancellor, Minaret University, Ikiru, Osun State, Professor Abdulrahman Abdullahi made this known at Eid ground, shortly after observing 2 rakat of Solat in commemoration of this year’s Eid Kabir celebration held in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
Alhaji Alaka and Professor Abdullahi said observing Hajj by Muslims is a period to feel remorseful toward worshipping Allah as an act of Ibadah.
Alhaji Alaka and Professor Abdullahi also advised Muslims faithful to use the celebration to show love to humanity as practiced by Prophet Ibrahim.
