CP Haruna Visits Olubadan Designate Oba Ladoja

The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Femi Haruna, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan Designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in anticipation of the forthcoming coronation ceremony, which marks his ascension as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

During the visit, CP Haruna extended heartfelt congratulations from the 22nd Indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, expressing the IGP’s best wishes and support for the traditional institution.

The Commissioner emphasized the significance of this historic event, which will attract dignitaries from various regions, both within Nigeria and internationally.

In line with the importance of the occasion, CP Haruna assured the Olubadan designate of comprehensive security arrangements ahead of the historic event.

Recall the Oyo State Government has declared Friday 26th September, 2025 as the official day of the historic coronation of the 44th Olubadan.

Meanwhile, residents are encouraged to remain vigilant at all times and report any suspicious activities to the Police. “If you see something, say something and the police will do something”.
