The member, representing Ibadan North West constituency, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Dawood Olalere, has empowered 200 people as part of activities to mark his 100 days in office.
Honourable Olalere who stated this in Ibadan, said the empowerment programme was to alleviate poverty in his constituency.
According to Honourable Olalere, 100 beneficiaries will be trained in computer skills while another 100 will be empowered with the sum of 20,000 naira each.
Honourable Olalere, therefore, appealed to the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the opportunity.
Honourable Olalere also known as D-Al-Ameen further expressed his readiness to work for the sustainability of peace and progress among all wards within his constituency and beyond.
Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke with Pensioners FM Correspondent, appreciated Honourable Olalere for the kind gesture.




They also prayed to God to continue to grant him wisdom and knowledge in all his endeavours. Present at the event include Secretary, People’s Democratic Party, Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ibadan North West Local Government, Alhaji Rahman Adepoju and Alhaji Ganiyu Omotosho.
