The Adedigba Family, through the Barakat Schools Old Students’ Association, BOSA, has officially handed over the Late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba Auditorium to the management of the Islamic Education Foundation, IEF, Barakat School.
The handover ceremony was held within the school premises in old Bodija area of Ibadan, Oyo State and was performed by the wife of the late Alhaji Adedigba, Alhaja Wosilat Adedigba.

Speaking on behalf of the family, one of the children of the late Alhaji Adedigba, Mrs. Adesunmbo Adebisi said the occasion marked the sixth anniversary of her father’s passing.

Mrs. Adebisi noted that the auditorium represents a lasting legacy of faith, dedication to education, and commitment to community development.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Barakat Schools Board of Governors, Alhaji Daud Naibi, who was represented by a member of Board of governor, Mr. Rasheed Aderinoye, described the late Alhaji Adedigba as a distinguished civil servant, community leader, and a passionate advocate of education and selfless service.

Alhaji Noheebi also expressed appreciation to the Adedigba Family for donating the befitting auditorium to the school.
Some friends of the late Alhaji Adedigba and old students of the Barakat Schools Association described the gesture as a laudable initiative that would help preserve his legacy for future generations.

Earlier, a Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Ibadan, Professor Oladosu Afeez, in a sermon titled “Sadaqat-ul-Jaariyah,” emphasised the importance of charitable giving, describing it as an act with enduring spiritual and social benefits.
